Diane Cermele

Owner Diane Cermele has been doing hair for over 17 years. She fell in love with the industry at the age of 17. Diane left her hometown to train as a stylist at Elizabeth Arden in White Plains. It was there that she spent hours upon hours training along top stylists to get the precision cut down right.

Diane picked up her most significant color training at Elizabeth Arden on 5th Avenue NYC under celebrity stylist Lance Lowe. Here she became advanced in the color end of the industry, working alongside colorists who have contracted out many models and notables. While Diane had such a fond love for the big city, she decided to start heading back uptown with her new training.

She worked at Mr. Carmine’s in Yonkers. There she learned how to work with wigs, hairpieces, and became a certified SoCap extension expert. Overtime, Diane eventually worked back in her hometown, gathering all of her education and knowledge, sharing it with her hometown community. It was back in Harrison that she reunited with her longtime friends who shared the same love for the industry.

In September 2009 Diane’s dream came true when Salon POSH opened its doors. It is here where the girls come together and have taken their talent to another level! Diane is often a recommended stylist for Brides on their very special day. She was awarded with Westchester Magazine’s Best of Westchester readers ballot winner for 2012’s “best hairstylist!” She is constantly training her staff with formal occasion and bridal hair styling.

All the hard work paid off. The Staff at Salon POSH won Westchester Magazine’s 2012, 2013, and 2014 “BEST WEDDING HAIR!”

Salon POSH has maintained its ground with the mother of all awards in 2015. “WESTCHESTERS BEST HAIR SALON”and “BEST HAIR.”
